Quality Council
The Yale New Haven Health System Quality Council consists of quality management leaders in each member hospital. It is charged with understanding and improving the quality of care delivered through Bridgeport, Greenwich and Yale-New Haven hospitals. The council is focused on the development of benchmarking and "best practice" initiatives.

Currently, the Quality Council tracks clinical and service quality measures in several areas at each vertical network, including patient safety, maternity, heart failure, acute myocardial infraction, trauma and pneumonia. This tracking and measurement process allows for greater standardization of care among the member hospitals.

RN Refresher Program
If you’ve been away from hospital-based nursing and want to come back, the Yale New Haven Health System RN Refresher program will give you the knowledge, skills and confidence you need.

Certificates with nursing contact hours are awarded upon course completion. Nurses who go on to work for any of the YNHHS hospitals may receive tuition reimbursement and a sign-on bonus. For more information, call one of the numbers below.
